The Pakman Award, which is the overall winner’s prize, will be presented at the Intercontinental Hotel on Thursday 25th October. This award is applicable to each winner from the 15 categories and will be awarded to an outstanding contribution made by an Irish organisation, company, community group or individual to the environment.

A new category introduced to the 2018 awards programme is ‘Tyre Champion’, sponsored by Repak ELT, which will be contended this year by finalists Ballinsaloe Tyre Centre, Crossmore Tyre Recycling Ltd and Togher Tyres. Guest judge, Chanelle, Lady McCoy will once again lead the Pakman judging panel to select a winner for the ‘Innovation in Waste Management’ award.
