What are the Pakman Awards?
The Pakman Awards are Ireland's leading National Environmental Awards that recognise excellence in recycling and waste management among businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals in Ireland. All organisations who demonstrate their sustainability and environmental efforts may enter.
The Pakman Awards are divided into 11 categories including the Overall Pakman Award, ranging from ESG Leader, Community Recycling Initiatives, Innovation in Waste Resource Products or Service to Business Recycling Champions and Waste Prevention Awards.
How to enter
The 2024 Pakman Awards will open for entry in June and take place on the 24th of October in The Shebourne Hotel. For more information on how to enter click here.
The Pakman Awards 2023
The Pakman Awards 2023 took place in The Shelbourne Hotel on the 26th of October, at which The Killarney Park & The Ross won the Overall Pakman Award for their cup project which aims to design out waste and promote the transtion to a circular economy. In 2023 we launched a new category, ESG Leader, and for the very first time, Repak selected an individual winner from one of their 3,500 Member businesses.
